MAKE A DIFFERENCE TODAY!
Stand in Solidarity with the People of Iran and Promote Peace
No matter who you are or where you are in the world, you can make a difference! Your opinion matters. Your actions matter. Your intention to help make the world a better, safer, more peaceful place matters.
Yes, each and every one of us can make a difference. We are many. There are hundreds of millions of us all over the planet. We are connected by technology, spirit, and a common goal. It is only a matter of time now, before all of us together make a difference.
We can foster peace, harmony, understanding, and cooperation with the people of Iran and within the country of Iran. Idealistic? Naive? Implausible? It’s not. It is noble. It is inevitable. It is in our interest. And it is happening right now. We must have the willingness to witness it and the courage to reach for it.
Now more than ever, your attention and participation is critical. At this moment getting involved for most Iranians poses a direct threat to their freedom and to their life. And it is for them who inspire us – truly the bravest among us – and for us – those who will benefit from real peace within Iran and between Iran and the Western World – that we must have the courage to act!
Take immediate actions to help further the cause for peace. It’s simple. Write a letter. Sign a petition. Make an urgent call. Volunteer your time. Donate to an organization making a difference. Participate in a march. Act out at a rally. Make your voice heard at a protest. Stand in solidarity with others at a demonstration. Honor the courage, memory, and sacrifices of another at a vigil. Any action is better than no action.

CALL ON IRAN’S SUPREME LEADER TO TAKE ACTION TO ENSURE THE RIGHTS OF THE PEOPLE OF IRAN ARE RESPECTED
Join others sending a letter to Ayatollah Sayed’Ali Khamenie calling on him to “release all those imprisoned for simply exercising their rights to freedom of speech and assembly” and to ensure “a fair trial, with no reliance on forced “confessions” and that they are not sentenced to death” for those accused of engaging in criminal acts” by signing the Amnesty International petition or sending an e-mail directly to the Supreme leader.
SIGN THIS PETITION AND SUPPORT JUST U.S. FOREIGN POLICY TOWARDS IRAN!
President Obama has faced pressure from some members of Congress and voices in the media to take sides in the internal dispute in Iran over their recent presidential election. While the events that have transpired in the wake of the election are disturbing, an aggressive response by the United States could make the situation for Iranians – and the future of U.S.-Iran relations – even worse.
So far, President Obama has responded cautiously, neither endorsing the election result nor the opposition claims of fraud, and re-affirming his intent to engage Iran diplomatically, regardless of the election result. Would you thank President Obama for his smart response and urge him to continue his efforts to engage Iran diplomatically?
This petition thanks President Obama for his “display of caution in addressing the situation in Iran following the disputed Presidential election.” It also urges the U.S. to stay out of the Iran dispute stating, “we agree that the U.S. must avoid the appearance of meddling in Iran’s internal affairs and we urge you to continue your efforts to engage Iran diplomatically, as you have pledged to do.”
If you want to support just U.S. foreign policy towards Iran, let the White House know by signing this petition. Or call the White House at 202-456-1111 and let President Obama know you want him to stick to his promise of direct talks with Iran.

SIGN THE GREEN SCROLL PETITION!
In a spontaneous and unprecedented action many thousands of Iranians around the world organized themselves to let the world know, ‘Ahmadinejad is NOT Iran’s president’.
The Green Scroll Project is the longest petition scroll in the world. In solidarity with the “Green Wave” movement in Iran, the petition protests the fraudulent Ahmadinejad victory of the June 12th presidential election in Iran.
Almost two kilometres in length, the scroll collected signatures from gatherings in 190 cities around the globe over three days – July 12, 13th, and 14th. The scroll was then sent to Paris to be sewn together to make the longest protest scroll in the world. The scroll will tour the globe after its first unveiling in Paris.
Photos of signings are available and numerous videos can be found on YouTube by searching Green Scroll.
